Fresh old Nordic cuisine

In our café you can eat your meal whilst enjoying views of the forest and sea through the large panorama windows. On sunny days, you can also sit on our spacious roof terrace with views of the forest treetops and rolling hills of the landscape.

The café is open during the museum’s opening hours, and you can order food from the kitchen up until an hour before the museum closes.

Drinks

We offer a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. Choose between soft drinks, juices, draft or bottled beer and the house wine. We also serve several kinds of freshly-brewed coffee as well as tea, hot chocolate and iced coffee.

Table reservation

There is often plenty of space in the café, so you don’t need to reserve a table for regular visits, weekends, school holidays or public holidays.

 

If you are a group of at least 12 people, you can contact us at rso@moesgaardmuseum.dk. Remember to send us your food and drink order, together with the table reservation, at least 7 working days in advance.

 

Always give the name and telephone number of the contact person for group inquiries for 12 people or more.

Can I visit the café without a ticket to the museum?

Yes, you’re welcome to visit the café without buying a ticket to the museum.

Is the café accessible with a wheelchair, rollator and pram?

Yes, the café is fully accessible to all guests. We have provided ramps and good accessibility so you can easily get around with a wheelchair, rollator or pram.

Can I bring my own food to the café?

No, you are not allowed to eat your packed lunch in the café. You can instead eat your packed lunch in the museum’s special packed lunch room, which is located in an extension of the cloakroom, or sitting on benches outdoors, weather permitting.

Allergies

If you have a food allergy, you are very welcome to contact the café staff when you arrive at the museum. Several of the dishes can be adapted to suit your requirements.
Gluten-free and lactose-free bread and cakes should always be available.
